Alisha Andrews

Veteran Leader Corps AmeriCorps Member, Metropolitan State University of Denver

Alisha is a Colorado native with a great passion for civic engagement. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Public Administration and previously attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, receiving a Bachelors of Applied Human Science in Social Work. Alisha has worked for two political campaigns and enjoys creating dialogue about civic issues. For the 2014 Campus Vote Initiative, funded through the Campus Election Engagement Project, Alisha will be working with colleges and universities in the Denver Metro area, Boulder, and throughout the state of Nevada. Some of her favorite past times include eating pizza and reading Socrates.

Here at CCMW we are tasked with “leading the evolution of the engaged campus,” but what does that mean? What better way to tell the story of engagement than by looking at an example of an engaged student. We would like to introduce you to Melissa Tilleman, a recent graduate of the University of Wyoming (UW), to help tell the story of how CCMW supports a campus in creating opportunities to produce engaged students.

Behold the power of service.
