Our Service in Action Photo Competition photos are used to help promote the CSC program, to highlight campus-based service, and to celebrate the engagement of students across the region.  Our third place winner this year is a student from Metropolitan State University of Denver, Kayla Rauh. Here's what Kayla has to say about her photo Fire Safety Service Project: "This picture exhibits the importance of teaching children and their families fire safety. Going out into the community provides the best way to get individuals involved in a fun and productive manner. This picture is an example of how this can be done!"

Here at CCMW we are tasked with “leading the evolution of the engaged campus,” but what does that mean? What better way to tell the story of engagement than by looking at an example of an engaged student. We would like to introduce you to Melissa Tilleman, a recent graduate of the University of Wyoming (UW), to help tell the story of how CCMW supports a campus in creating opportunities to produce engaged students.

Behold the power of service.
