Jacob served as a combat medic with the 82nd Airborne Division, 1-505 PIR. He was deployed to Afghanistan from May 2011-Feb 2012 with his regiment attached to special operations. He left the Army as a sergeant and is now a 2nd-year Nursing student at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. He plans on becoming a Nurse-Practitioner specializing in family medicine. In his spare time he enjoy reading and hiking.
