Rena Dulberg serves as the Director of Campus Academic Operations at Johnson & Wales University. In this role, Rena implements strategic initiatives from the Centennial Plan in connection with the University’s defined mission and guiding principles. In addition, she provides operational support for campus academic affairs, including enrollment, program development, retention, special projects, stakeholder relationship management, academic research, data collection, veteran support, and faculty development efforts. She also serves as a faculty member for a community-based, student directed service-learning course and the expansion of the campus’ service-learning opportunities.
Previous to her role in Campus Academic Operations, Rena served the University by serving as Director of the Community Leadership Institute (CLI) and Student Leadership Development Programs Manager. As part of the CLI, Rena applied her passion for community, leadership, service, and education in leading and expanding the diverse and civically-oriented leadership development offerings at Johnson & Wales University.
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rena attended Occidental College in Los Angeles. After two years working in the nonprofit sector Rena’s interests in psychology, education, and diplomacy led her to pursue graduate studies at the University of Denver, where she completed her Masters Degree in the field of Conflict Resolution in the fall of 2010. In her free time she enjoys interacting with friends and family and spending time outdoors hiking and skiing. Rena continues to serve in a volunteer leader capacity for a variety of local nonprofit organizations and was recently selected to participate in a two-year, nationally- recognized leadership development initiative called the Wexner Jewish Heritage Program.
